Our meetings are open to everybody, no need to book. Just turn up, you’ll be made very welcome – and you’ll get a cup of tea or coffee! Or if you fancy something stronger, feel free to bring your own drink.

June’s meeting, with speaker Helen Frost, is entitled The Women’s Land Army during World War I. Officially formed in 1917, the Women’s Land Army
enabled vital food production to
continue on the Home Front…
but it was so much more than
that! It gave women from all classes and across all regions of Briain opportunities that were simply unthinkable before Great War!
